Are you, or do you know someone that's been struggling with abuse? We see it everywhere and look the other way until the victims' funeral when we wish we could have done something about it. I know, we don't ever want to get involved to avoid being hurt or threatened. If you see the signs or see the bruises, talk about it. A motivating conversation can go along way when it's a life-or-death situation. One day you see them then the next their gone. Don't let it take that long to save someone's life. If it doesn't work, at least you did your part.
Healing Wounds by Producing Smiles
We may not be able to ever help them forget the pain, but we can do something to make them smile. Help me raise funds to grant their travel wishes by sending them on healing trips for peace and serenity. The iTWL is a wish list of organizations that support domestic violence victims and survivors, and their wishes are to send victims and survivors on a vacation. Women ages 21 and older qualify.
