A motivating conversation can go along way when it's a life-or-death situation. One day you see them then the next their gone. Don't let it take that long to save someone's life. If it doesn't work, at least you did your part.
Healing Wounds by Producing Smiles
We may not be able to ever help them forget the pain, but we can do something to make them smile. Help me raise funds to grant their travel wishes by sending them on healing trips for peace and serenity. The iTWL is a wish list of organizations that support domestic violence victims and survivors, and their wishes are to send victims and survivors on a vacation. Women ages 21 and older qualify. Gift recipients will enjoy trips to Hawaii, Barbados, St. Lucia, or the Bahamas. Total eGift Cards value is up to $500 per person. I'm giving every donor a heartfelt thank-you gift for supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse. Many women, including myself, have faced domestic abuse at some point in their lives. Whether it's verbal, mental, or physical, abuse takes a toll on the body, which is meant for purity and peace. The overwhelming emotions tied to anxiety and stress can disrupt the body's ability to function. Living in constant fear, both spiritually and emotionally, can deeply harm people without them realizing the toxic effects.
That said, I'm now walking a path in life guided by God, trusting His timing and never rushing ahead. Everything happens when it’s meant to, and I rely on the ultimate source of life that flows through me. God provides the body with what it needs to survive. Domestic abuse can lead to insecurities and numerous mental and physical health challenges for everyone involved. To give back, I've created a way to ensure victims find the peace they deserve through traveling. God offers countless life codes to help us gain the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding we need.
